Welcome to Baywatch Cottage, a quiet efficiency cottage with a private heated pool is situated on 3 acres along the Roosevelt Channel on Captiva Island. This unique property is located directly across from the small historic island of Buck Key and one mile North of Blind Pass for exceptional shelling. The property offers two private docks with water and electric for the avid boater or fisherman. Start your day watching the sunrise over Buck Key. Manatee, Dolphin and a variety of local birds such as the Osprey, Bald Eagle, Herons and Pelicans are fascinating to watch as they play in the area waterways. This is truly natures paradise! The dock also has a bench to relax after a full day on the water. The Captiva Village area is 1.7 miles North to enjoy the local restaurants, island shops, boutiques, galleries and live music. Bikes are very popular at Baywatch Cottage and can be rented nearby. Venture out and explore the island.

This charming 2 bedroom island cottage offers an open living area floor plan with sliders opening to the private screened pool area and the open deck bayside. The open deck offers outside seating for 6 as well as loungers.The master suite offers a private full bath and the second bedroom offers two twin beds which can easily be converted to a king upon request. The living area with a queen sleeper sofa boasts a flat screen smart TV, DVD, and a large dining table. The fully equipped kitchen is covenient for your home cooked meals after a busy day on the water. Baywatch Cottage offers two docks with water and electric. Enjoy Manatee, Dolphin and Birds dockside as well as spectacular sunrise over Buck Key. Always call prior to arrival if you are bringing a boat to get instructions for dock and trailer parking. Baywatch is an older yet comfortable beach cottage perfect for your island getaway. Don't forget your furry friend, we are pet friendly!
ABOUT CAPITVA ISLAND AND THE AREA
Captiva, which is connected to Sanibel by a small bridge called Blind Pass, is 6 miles long; and Pine Island is 17 miles in length. Originally Captiva was part of Sanibel Island but when it was severed in 1926 by a hurricane's storm surge, Blind Pass was created separating the two islands. Baywatch Cottage is located on Captiva Dririve 1 mile from Blind Pass Beach and 1.8 miles from Andy Rosse Lane. Andy Rosse Lane is located in downtown Captiva and has plenty of restaurants and shops to check out! Enjoy a sunset cocktail while listening to live music at Mucky Duck or explore the famous Bubble Room and taste one of their award winning desserts! If you’re not exploring the island, take your private or rented boat out from the Baywatch dock and enjoy all the fishing Roosevelt Channel! If you’re not catching Tarpon, you have a great chance of seeing dolphins, manatees, and all the other natural Florida wildlife this beautiful island has to offer!
